Cafeteria
The hospital cafeteria is located by the front lobby and is available to all visitors. Complimentary coffee is available daily from 7AM-5PM. Vending machines may also be found in the cafeteria.
Monday through Friday:
BREAKFAST: - 7AM-10AM
LUNCH: - 11AM-1:30PM
Parking/ Security
Visitor parking is provided in designated areas of the hospital and spaces for handicapped parking are also available. Newport Specialty is not responsible for vehicle damage, fire or theft while parked in the hospital lot.
Family Concerns
Newport Specialty offers biweekly patient conferences for family members to discuss their loved one’s plan of care, condition and progress. Conference time may be scheduled by calling the case management department at (714)669-5867.
Social Services are also available for emotional support, community resources and assistance with MediCal.
Post-Hospital Care
Once the physician determines that the patient no longer requires acute care services but still requires medical care, the patient may be discharged to a skilled nursing facility, a rehabilitation center or home health services. Our Case Manager/ Discharge Planner will assist and arrange for services needed after leaving the hospital.
Tours
You are able to tour our facility daily from 9AM-6PM and have your questions answered regarding services provided, criteria, plan of care and insurance coverage. To schedule a tour between Monday through Friday please call the Marketing Office at (714) 669-5857.
For weekend tours please call (714)838-9600 and ask for the nursing supervisor.
