| WOUND CARE PROGRAM |

| The Wound Care Department at Newport Specialty Hospital has the responsibility and accountability for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of wound prevention and treatment for every patient. Many modalities can be implemented based on the assessment of the wound and include nutrition, medication, specialized bed surfaces, negative pressure wound therapy, and surgical debridement.
